Colchester, Britain's oldest recorded town, is only 20 miles away and the University City of Cambridge only 30 miles.  The Norman Keep (built 1140) at Castle Hedingham is only 2 miles away.  A great stop for STANSTED AIRPORT, 20 miles (40 minutes) away.
